F12, 1971 |
Timo ja Antti Korhonen |
|
This car came to Finland from Trieste northern Italy in 1997, where Timo Korhonen was employed at Grandi Motori powermill motor factory. Timo was allowed to buy the car as a farewell gift. This car from 1971 is an exemplar of the third series of Autocarri/Furgone 12 models which originally was introduced in the 1950's and was build until 1982, when it was replaced by more modern models of Fiat and Iveco. The car has a 1300 ccm twin cam Alfa engine with 60 hp. Gearbox has 4 + 1 gears. The hand made body is carried by a strong frame structure and the car is surprisingly front driven. Picture taken at a club meeting in Hanko 2001. |
